The Artist Known As Claire

The Artist hard at work.

If you are one of the lucky recipients of this work, I'd hang on to it if I were you. It will be worth big bucks in a few years!

ABBA

Mommy was feeling "ABBAesque" today, so Rachel go on her white ensemble and we tried to create blonde hair with Claire's hair. (Kind of hard to see, but humor me and use your imagination.) That really got us in the mood and we became "Dancing Queens"

Just in case you thought Rachel grew long blonde hair, we are giving away our secrets of the magical growing hair.

Dr. Claire

"Do you have a sliver you would like me to remove? Just a moment while I put my glasses on."

An Afternoon At the Park

The weather was still really warm throughout September, so we spent some afternoons at the park playing! (and sitting in the stroller)

There are drums to spin....

Walls to climb......

Look out Mt. Everest, here comes Claire!

People to call.... "Hello! Are you there?"

"All these fun things to do, and I'm stuck here in my stroller!"

My Sweet Pea

Rachel is 6 months old and a happy girl. She has four teeth (two in the middle on the bottom and two on either side of the front area - she is our own jack-o-lantern) with her two front teeth working their way in.

She doesn't have much hair so we pretend with headbands and bows.

Who stole these clothes? (Claire 10/10/04)

Swinging With Baby and Me

We are so lucky to have a great swing set in the backyard. It is great fun not only for Claire, but for her babies too.

There are so many ways to swing. On your belly and twisting......

on your back, hamock style....

with friends.......

good ol' on your bum facing forward...

or even bumper car style.

Go Racers!

The Murray State football team opened their home games on a beautiful day in September and Claire was all set thanks to a cheerleading outfit from Grammy Judy!

Go Team!

Rah! Rah! Sis, Boom Bah!

There was a barbque (or as Claire says "barbcute") before the game and we all enjoyed the barbque pork!

J.J. and Rachel made it through the first quarter

Paul and Claire made it a little longer - through half time.

The games are fun but very stressful - at least for mommy. Not because I'm worried about the team winning - they are not very good- but because there are narrow metal bleachers that are very high and a 3 year old thinks it is a wonderful playground, but a mommy just sees them as a death trap as I picture her falling and rolling all the way down. I'm hoping the basketball games will be a little more relaxing.

Let Me Read You A Book

Claire loves books. She reads them to her babies at night before bed. Sometimes you just get plum tuckered out.
