We drove down to Paris, Tennessee for the Annual World's Largest Fish Fry!! We were so excited that in the magazine for the event, on the cover was Paul's student the Fish Fry Queen!! Claire will be working to achieve this goal when she gets older. This was an event to behold. It was a typical county fair - of which Paul had never experienced, but brought back fond memories of the Tulelake Fair from my childhood. We decided to start out with a good meal of catfish. For $10 you got all you can eat catfish, hushpuppies, beans, slaw, fries and drinks.

Rachel was ready for the goods!
The event was held in a big fair hall. (Look close at the picture and the sign behind my head even says it is the WORLD'S BIGGEST FISH FRY.
After eating we decided to let Claire hit a couple rides. We kind of encouraged her to try the roller coaster, which she gladly did. It all started out fun, lots of smiles and giggles.....

Once it got going a little nervousness set in and the grip became tight.....
And it went downhill from there. This dragon proved to be just too much and the nice man stopped the dragon in the middle of the ride and let Claire off.
We then found a ride more her style and size. The car was pink, shiny, didn't go up and down and didn't whip her around. What more could you ask for?

I'm thinking we will have to make this an annual event - just without the roller coaster for a few years.
