Kentucky in the Fall

One of the advantages of living in Kentucky in the fall is the beautiful colors that surround us.
Our trees in our front yard had brilliant yellows, oranges and reds. I was a little late catching the colors, but luckily I did it when I did because the next day, big winds came through and that was the end of the beautiful leaves (at least on the trees).

We also had red roses blooming for a long time this fall, they just kept coming and coming. I had already pruned most of them because I thought they were done, but they were a deep gorgeous red - the pictures don't do them justice.
