Claire Turns 4!!

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION #1!

Birthday morning started off grand with a new tiara and scepter and a new princess ball.

And what could be better than a birthday breakfast of cupcakes?

The birthday girl was busy fielding calls from all her fans.

That afternoon began what turned into 2 days of opening presents.

Claire showing off her "nails" Aunt Kari sent her. (We are still finding them around the house - hopefully before Rachel)

Oh, opening presents is so exciting!

Even Rachel thought it was quite fun to watch.

What could it be?

New cherry VANS. Perfect summer shoes.

That evening, we had friends over for cupcakes and even more presents.
Bob and Esther from next door came over. They are the "grandparents" in Murray. Our good friends Shara and Trevor also joined us, or as Claire calls them Shara Dara and Trevor Devor.

Strawberry cupcakes were the fare for the evening.

Claire tried hard to make her wishes come true.



And she did it!

Of course, you have to get the frosting off the candles somehow.

Daddy and Rachel were excited for the cupcakes, but Rachel had to wait 5 more days to get her first taste of the goods.

Esther helped Claire get the unwrapping started.

While Bob, kept Rachel entertained.

Trevor and Shara always add a spice of fun.

Claire got her very own tea set - compliments of Bob and Esther.

She couldn't wait to have a tea party.

Then it was on to more gifts.

Claire wanted a Barbie cake for this party, so this was Mommy's cupcake attempt. Claire loved it and that is all that matters.

Everyone enjoyed the strawberry cupcakes.

We are so lucky to have such great neighbors and friends.
